Zarir Chaudhuri brings over 12 years of senior leadership experience in the healthcare sector, including directorship roles with global providers, to his role as Managing Director of National Clinical Insourcing (NCI). With a deep understanding of the UK healthcare landscape and the challenges facing the NHS, he has shaped NCI into a trusted partner specialising in elective recovery and supporting Trusts to deliver sustainable improvements in patient care.

For Zarir, the drive to improve patient access is personal. In his 20s, he endured painful eye conditions that required multiple day-case procedures, with waits of up to 12 months. Experiencing first-hand the frustration and impact of delayed treatment inspired him to establish NCI with a clear mission – To help NHS Trusts expand capacity, reduce waiting lists, and ensure patients across the UK and Ireland receive timely, high-quality care when they need it most.
